What kind of online comics do you find most enjoyable?

A plot-based, character driven story with twists and turns, and original characters, settings, and concepts.
A comic based partially on a few characters and their adventures with various things in our reality (ie: video games, tv shows, and other such fandoms), with many of these fanbase related jokes.
A completely fanbase-oriented comic that consists mostly of jokes and cleverness.

I must say...a mixture between "plot-based" and "few characters." The problem with a webcomic is that it only updates a few times a week, if that. So many plot-based ones lose readers when the reader doesn't remember what happened seven pages and two weeks ago. *points at Megatokyo* The only plot based webcomic I really follow is Girl Genius.
Meanwhile, the "few character" ones with little plot spurts are easier to follow. *points at Fanboys* And they still have potential to do some character development and plotish things.
